Active Runways
Any runway may be active, but keep in mind that some aircraft types may requre 6/24.
When the winds are calm, runway 6 will be the primary departure runway and runway 35 will be the primary arrival runway.
No departure heading is needed unless requested by the departure controller.
Once an aircraft is observed airborne, (not when they call airborne) should be told to contact departure. The frequency is not needed since it was given in the clearance. Remember that the departure controller will be logged on as IML_x_APP (where x represents the sector) and may still be referred to as "departure."
