Airport Information

Washington Dulles International airport (IAD, elevation 313 ft) is located 20 miles to the West of Washington DC. In 2002 Washington Dulles served over twenty million passengers, and averaged over one thousand aircraft operations per day. This places Dulles as one of the busiest airports in the country.

All aircraft departing Dulles will be cleared via the Capital departure, or the PRYME Note however that the PRYME is currently not authorized.

Aircraft arriving at Dulles are advised to file the appropriate Standard Terminal Arrival. Aircraft not filing this route should expect to be cleared along this route.
