In 2002 Washington Dulles served over twenty million passengers, and averaged over one thousand aircraft operations per day. This places Dulles as one of the busiest airports in the country.

Departure Information

All aircraft departing Dulles will be cleared via the Capital 5 departure, or the PRYME Note however that the PRYME is currently not authorized .

The initial fix on any flight shall be one of the following points:

East PALEO, SWANN
Southeast DAILY
Southwest HAFNR, FLUKY
West LDN, AML (J149)
Northwest MRB, BUFFR, JERES

Arrival Information

Aircraft arriving at Dulles are advised to file the appropriate Standard Terminal Arrival. Aircraft not filing this route should expect to be cleared along this route.
